Founded by a Parents' Association in 1956, The International School Limited has spent almost seventy years building a home for children of every nationality and creed.

The school was founded by a Parents’ Association in 1956 to provide a sound primary education for children of all nationalities and creeds. In October 1962, the Association was disbanded and the school became a limited company, administered by a Board of Directors — the same structure that governs ISL today.
Every parent and guardian of an enrolled child can become a member of the company and gain voting rights at the Annual General Meeting upon signing the registration form. The school celebrates its Foundation Day every year on November 5th.
It remains the policy of the Board of Directors to engage qualified staff and to provide as much continuity as possible for every child who passes through our gates.
